Colors

Let's dive in to the color hues of your site.

Warm colors are generally defined as red, orange, and yellow. They can evoke joy and excitement. Cool colors are green, blue, and purple. Cool colors are generally calming and relaxing.

Do you prefer warm or cool colors?
Now, it's time to think about how bold you'd like your site to be. A brighter color palette can add fun pops throughout your site when used judiciously. More muted color palettes are great for professional or subdued websites.

Do you prefer brighter or more muted colors?

Design Style

Thinking about the overall design of your website, do you prefer a clean, modern design or bright and poppy?

Modern website design generally focuses on white space, clean lines, and a simple layout. This can be good for professional sites or those speaking to a more business-oriented audience.

Alternatively, website design with a little more pop uses bright splashes of color, abstract layouts, and more design elements. This design style can be good for sites that are more playful or attract a fun–loving, whimsical audience.

Do you prefer a clean, modern style or a bright and poppy style?

Inspiration

Let's think about the images on your site. Depending on the product(s) and/or service(s) you offer, as well as the overall look and feel you'd like for your site, you may be leaning towards specific graphic styles.

Abstract imagery tends to be more free flowing, icons can be more service-oriented (but can certainly have a number of different styles), and photos often lean professional, especially if they feature people.

You can have a combination of these imagery options, but it's important to prioritize the main graphic feature of your site so it doesn't get too busy or cluttered.
